We recently caught up with their Head of HR, Charlotte Ilkiw, who was kind enough to say a few words about her experience.

Were you happy with the items you ordered?

“Yes, we are really happy with the products we ordered. The water bottles are a great way of reducing single-use plastic here at TBS. The quality of the bottles is A* and they have been well received by the whole workforce. Being in engineering, we needed something with quality and durability due to the environment we work in, and all operatives have found them fit for purpose.”

Why did you want to purchase branded items? Why is it a benefit to you?

• Pens – “We are using pens and other merchandise for brand awareness, when we go to events such as apprentice open evenings, exhibitions, or roadshows. Having branded handouts at the events allows a wider reach and exposure for the brand.”   

• Water bottles – “These were used to reduce single-use plastic in the workplace and we were celebrating 160 years of trading at Thomas Broadbent, therefore we gifted all staff a bottle as part of our celebrations!”
